What does MyFriendStats do?
MyFriendStats collects data on all the friends connected to a MySpace profile. MyFriendStats then
generates 3d charts reflecting this data. MyFriendStats also allows you to browse a database of a
profile's friends and even export the data.

How does MyFriendStats work?
MyFriendStats reads your profile to collect information about your friends, then MyFriendStats visits
thier profiles to collect basic information about them.

What data does MyFriendStats collect?
Currently MyFriendStats collects your friend's id, name, age, sex, city,
state or province, country and the number of friends they have.

How many friends can MyFriendStats handle?
There is no limit to the number of friends MyFriendStats can gather data from, however, the
larger the number of friends, the longer it will take to collect data from them.

How long does it take to collect data?
This depends on your internet speed and computer to some degree. Generally MyFriendStats can gather data at a rate of approximately 2,000 profiles an hour.
At this rate, if you had 20,000 friends it would take MyFriendStats 10 hours to gather all the data. MyFriendStats automatically creates a backup in case of
system crashes while collecting.

Does MyFriendStats work on a Mac?
Currently MyFriendStats is only available for Microsoft Windows. It has not been
tested on any Virtual PC platforms.

What restrictions does the trial version have?
The trial version of MyFriendStats will only allow you to collect data on the first 25 friends of a MySpace profile. In addition you are not able to export data
from the trial version.

What charts does MyFriendStats generate?
Once the data has been collected MyFriendStats will generate the following 3d
charts: Friends by Age, Friends by Sex, Friends by State, Friends by Country
and Friends by Number of Friends.

What file format does MyFriendStats export?
After collecting data MyFriendStats can export all data collected as well as all data tables generated as CSV files.
These files may be opened in Microsoft Excel, Access or imported into virtually any database platform.

What if MySpace changes how profiles work?
Since MyFriendStats collects data from MySpace updates will very likely be required in the future. Purchasing
MyFriendStats entitles one to free upgrades through to the next major version, we will do our best to keep MyFriendStats
functioning properly in the event that MySpace alters the layout of profiles. Due to the fact that MyFriendStats has
no control over MySpace we cannot guarantee that MyFriendStats will function indefinitely.

How much data is a good sample?
This will vary from profile to profile, however if you have 50,000+ friends there is no need to
collect data from all of them, anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 would produce identifiable trends which the remainder would

What exactly is 'bad data'?
Bad data can be a number of things, it could be the MySpace site experiencing problems, your internet connection

How do I add more friends to my saved data or recovery file?
If you have loaded data from a previous session or loaded recovery data, simply ensure that 'Clear Data' is
unchecked, enter the same MySpace ID and select 'Get New Data'. This will add the collected data to the
existing data, you must re-save this data once it has been collected.

MyFriendStats will skip profiles marked as Private in order to respect the wishes of those profile owners.

I've decided I want a refund. How do I go about getting my money back?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our electronic
delivery system once the software has been delivered to you, we do not
provide refunds.
The only exception is in the case of fraud --
where an order has been placed using a stolen credit card. If this is
the case, please Contact Us with relevant information from your credit card issuer.

What does the MyFriendStats Tracker do?
The MyFriendStats Tracker allows you to keep track of who and when someone visits your MySpace Profile. By placing a small line of code in your
profile the MyFriendStats Tracker can tell you, when someone visits, where they are from, their IP, Host, Operating System, Browser and if they are also
using the MyFriendStats Tracker it will identify them by their MySpace Profile.

How do I create a MyFriendStats Tracker account?
The MyFriendStats Tracker is available to all MyFriendStats customers. If you purchase a MyFriendStats license you will be given a serial
number to access the MyFriendStats Tracker.

Does the MyFriendStats Tracker identify everyone?
The MyFriendStats Tracker will tell you the visitor's City, Country, IP, Host, Operating System, Browser, the Date and Time as well as their Total Visits. If they are also
a MyFriendStats Tracker user they will be connected to their MySpace account and you will see their Profile Picture and Name. This is impossible to do automatically unless they are also a MyFriendStats Tracker user. Other sites which claim to do so
are at best mis-leading their users.

How do I get the MyFriendStats Tracker System Tray Utility out of Demo Mode?
First you must purchase a license to MyFriendStats, then you can set up a Tracking account and some Trackers. In order to
switch the System Tray Utility to Full Mode you must enter your Serial Number into the MyFriendStats application on the same machine.

The MyFriendStats Tracker System Tray Utility is not showing any Notification Balloons?
In Windows XP this is most likely due to a Regisitry Setting which has disabled Balloon Notifications. You must set the following key
to 1, and reboot the machine,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\EnableBalloonTips

How can I identify users the MyFriendStats Tracker does not?
If visitors are not MyFriendStats Tracker users there are a number of ways to identify them once you're given the information MyFriendStats Tracker provides;
- Tell your friends about MyFriendStats Tracker, once they join their MySpace Profile will be connected to their visits, if you become an affiliate you can make money while doing this.
- Check your MySpace Profile Comments and match the Dates and Times to visitors in your MyFriendStats Tracker.
- Check email headers from friends to match their IP ( internet address ) with the IP of visitors in your MyFriendStats Tracker.
